These photographs were taken by my sweet sister and niece on our excursion to Paris last summer. It seemed that everywhere we looked was a visual feast for our eyes. I know my next few trips will be to places I've never been before - Istanbul and Seville to be specific!

Paris Blues
I woke up this morning with the Paris blues. I long for an extended trip to Paris - wish I could go every few months. But for now, a few beautiful shots from the City of Lights will lift my spirits until I can have my next set of adventures there!

Searching for Sunshine...
As I looked at the long list of blogs I visit everyday, I was particularly drawn to any photograph that evoked days spent outdoors. I know its just around the corner but if you look outside the window today, it seems like its too far to see. I found these photographs on dressdesigndecor and frolic . I hope you enjoy them and that we all enjoy a little sunshine very soon.

Dreaming of Paris

This summer I was fortunate enough to travel Paris with my daughter, sister, and niece. What I adored about traveling with the three of them was that all of us love the little things that make Paris so amazing. My sister and her daughter were such good photographers and were able to capture what I consider the essence of the city. It was the beauty of small things that make Paris a place I continue to return to. This little girl in the photo above captures what I am talking about. In addition, in the markets there were displays that took my breath away. Spices, bowls for sale at the flea market, and waiters dressed in crisp white shirts. That's what make Paris special to me.
